Printmaking has been part of my life for many years. I work doing prints myself and work helping artists realize there own printmaking projects. The printmaking images presented here are from various amazing artists that I had the pleasure of working with and artworks from friend, Alex, myself and highlights of Watermark Printmaking Workshop and Grand Central Press.

Our history!!!
For ten years master printer James Lorigan ran the business of Watermark Printmaking Workshop out of the shop located at Grand Central Art Center in Santa Ana. He actually had the shop for twenty years prior to this…Lorigan, Matthew William Miller printed for many artists over the years which include; Sandow Birk, Anaida Hernandez, Mark Ryden, SHAG, Peter Zokolsky, Manuel Pardo, Bill Burns, Jeffrey Vallance, William T. Wiley, Mary Hull Webster, Laurie Lipton, Alex and Allyson Grey, Peter Zokosky and many others. Many of the printmaking projects were in collaboration with GCAC’s artist in residency program and the Grand Central Art Forum. Andrea worked mainly as the press coordinator and did some print work but most of the heavy printing effort was taken care of by master printers James and Matthew.
The partnership of Watermark Printmaking Workshop moved on in 2008 when owners Matthew William Miller and Andrea Harris took over. For eight years prior to this Matthew was working as James Lorigan’s printmaking assistant and Andrea Harris was the director of the Grand Central Art Center and coordinated printmaking projects for the Grand Central Press.
Many things have changed over the years.
Today Watermark is no longer at GCAC and we are once and for all closed for business. James Lorigan is still making prints privately in his studio, Matt has moved on to being a professional photographer and Andrea is still in the shop printing for herself these days at Logan Creative in Santa Ana. Andrea has continued to do outreach workshop for student on printmaking and illustration.
